Lead, Clinical Research - Pediatrics - Psychology

Responsibilities
Performs essential planning and coordination activities related to multi-site and multi-national longitudinal observational studies. The appropriate candidate must have the leadership skills and abilities to manage the complexities involved in this level of coordination
Organizes and participates in collaborative activities, including representing the program externally with our international partners and guiding study design and procedural decisions with our collaborators
Coordinates research staff and coordinates their involvement in study implementation tasks (e.g., scheduling study visits, obtaining informed consent, administering participant incentives)
Determines eligibility and recruits patients for research participation
Supports research staff in conducting testing procedures required by study protocols, which includes administering neuropsychological tests to patients, scoring neuropsychological tests, reporting test scores to the supervising psychologist, and assisting in interpreting the results. Performs testing when needed
Maintains research databases and conducts data exports as needed for analyses
Completes all required training modules related to the Responsible Conduct of Research (e.g., CITI Program training)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Six years of relevant experience
Training in and experience with neurocognitive testing
Previous experience interacting with children and families in a medical setting is required
Must be highly organized and able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Prior experience with Microsoft Excel is required
Ability to understand and implement patient studies/protocols is required
Respectful, patient-centered interactions with participants, medical providers, and staff are expected at all times
Responsible for assigning activities to other study staff
Provides assistance and training to lower level staff and to trainees
Preferred
Master's-degree in Psychology with master's-level training in psychological/cognitive testing
Six years of experience administering psychological or cognitive tests
