Payroll Clerk
HirePower is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join their client's team. In this role, you will process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, manage wage garnishments, ensure accurate benefits deductions, and support leadership with payroll and accounting projects.
Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and on time
Manage wage garnishments and benefits deductions
Conduct payroll audits to maintain data integrity
Prepare property payroll transfer reports
Review retroactive pay calculations
Support year-end payroll activities (W-2s, reconciliations, reports)
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
Qualification
Required
1+ year of payroll experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred
Experience with QuickBooks, PayChoice, or Payroll Associates
Associate/Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business
