Overseeing the daily accounting operations of the Central Valley School District
Leading financial reporting, budget preparation, and auditing processes
Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations
Supervising accounting staff
Streamlining accounting systems
Overseeing payroll and accounts payable functions
Preparing detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Collaboration with team members and district leadership to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial matters
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in financial reporting, budget preparation, and auditing
Strong knowledge of accounting systems, general ledger maintenance, and compliance practices
Leadership and team management skills, along with effective team collaboration experience
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)
