1+ years expPeaceHealth is seeking a CSTO Staffing Coordinator for a part-time position. This role is responsible for the day-to-day deployment of caregivers to meet operational needs, adjusting staffing based on census and patient acuity, and forecasting staffing needs for the next shift.

Responsibilities
Partners with managers to ensure consistent and balance staffing on a 24-hour basis
Maintains staffing and scheduling records with My Time, ensuring all changes are accurately documented
Uses PeaceHealth communication tools to locate, find and contact caregivers who can cover sick calls or other open, same day shifts
Interprets and accurately applies and follows all hospital scheduling and staffing policies
Effectively communicates staffing assignments and updates with caregivers and managers
May prepare, input and maintain monthly schedules for assigned units
May approve time off/education requests when doing scheduling
Provide reports as requested
May function as a resource to nursing managers for efficient use of scheduling system
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service
Skills in problem solving and organizing and disseminating information
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient computer/keyboarding skills including MS Office applications
Ability to multi-task and work in an environment with multiple interruptions and successful follow through
Preferred
Scheduling and staffing experience
Experience working in Healthcare
