They are seeking a proactive and creative Interior Designer to join their team, responsible for designing interior spaces, meeting client requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Design interior spaces, including permanent architectural details
Assess and meet client requirements and desires through regular meetings and conferences
Produce sketches, drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using computer-aided design programs (CAD) and hand-drawing skills
Create idea boards to communicate design concepts to clients
Maintain current knowledge of sales, promotions, store policies, and business practices
Prepare sales orders and evaluate pricing with the purchasing coordinator or design assistant
Provide customers with timely and accurate information related to products, pricing, etc
Greet and develop relationships with potential customers who visit our amazing showroom
Research and present information on the features and benefits of products
Work diligently in a fast-paced environment while taking care of multiple clients at a time
Coordinate furniture floor plans and accessories with color schemes
Keep an updated clientele book with customer contact information
Provide customer assistance on selections and design
Work with the internal team to price products and manage total customer satisfaction
Assist customers with choosing decorative home décor and furnishings
Demonstrate the ability to interact as a team member by communicating effectively with co-workers for customer satisfaction
Establish project timelines and coordinate work activity, vendor involvement, and outside contractors as necessary
Read and interpret blueprints
Work closely with various colleagues, including architects, artists, contractors, painters, upholsterers, and building inspectors
Participate in regular networking opportunities and actively develop a client base
Perform research and maintain a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds
Other responsibilities as communicated
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 2-4 years of Interior Design experience
Preferred
Sales / Furniture Retail experience is strongly preferred
