Program Coordinator - Home Delivery

Arlington Charities is seeking a compassionate, organized Program Coordinator – Home Delivery to support neighbors who are unable to visit our food pantry in person. This role ensures seniors, individuals with disabilities, and neighbors with mobility or transportation challenges receive nutritious food with dignity and care.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage home delivery schedules and routes
Pack food boxes based on household size and dietary needs
Safely deliver food throughout the Arlington community
Maintain accurate delivery logs and client records
Communicate respectfully with clients, volunteers, and staff
Support volunteers assisting with packing and deliveries
Follow food safety and transportation protocols

Qualification

Organizational skillsCommunication skillsVulnerable populationsBilingual (English/Spanish)Valid Texas driver’s license

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to lift and carry food boxes weighing 30 pounds or more
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and load/unload vehicles

Preferred

Experience working with vulnerable populations
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
