Lifecycle Marketing Automation Specialist

Responsibilities
Champion a culture of innovation by experimenting with new messaging approaches, triggers, emerging tools, and personalization techniques to evolve and improve existing lifecycle campaigns
Execute daily marketing campaigns and automated journeys, including setup, list segmentation, scheduling, A/B test execution, QA, and reporting
Configure and maintain automated workflows and processes in Braze, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and accuracy based on project goals defined by the Director of Lifecycle Marketing
Monitor automation systems for errors, latency, or performance issues; troubleshoot and escalate in partnership with Data and Technology teams
Ensure strong data governance across automated journeys by validating input sources, segmentation logic, and performance triggers
Own the implementation and governance of Liquid Logic to power personalization within automated communications
Develop and manage testing and optimization roadmaps, analyze results, and translate insights into actionable improvements across lifecycle programs
Support QA, documentation, and campaign auditing efforts to uphold standards and best practices
Contribute insights and recommendations based on campaign analytics and post-implementation performance
Stay informed on marketing automation trends and platform capabilities, with emphasis on Braze and Amplitude integration
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Braze and event-based automation workflows
Understanding of CRM best practices, behavioral triggers, consumer attributes and how they influence decision paths within the customer journey
Proficiency in Liquid Logic and sufficient HTML/CSS knowledge for email and messaging template adjustments
Hands-on experience with building event-based data models (APIs, webhooks) using Python/Javascript and how it relates to marketing automation
Hands-on experience utilizing SQL to operationalize customer data models and segmentation including extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data from warehouses and CDPs such as Amplitude
Experience with A/B and multivariate testing methodologies
Familiarity with Amplitude or similar analytics platforms for campaign performance tracking
Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills; detail-oriented with a passion for systems efficiency
Avid team player; proven ability to apply innovative ideas and critical thinking to projects and the organization's opportunities, and able to work with various teams: creative, IT, analytics, etc
Able to anticipate needs, innovate and flourish in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Proficient with G-Suite
BA or BS Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
2-5 years in a similar field or in comparable fields
Understanding of major messaging platforms, analytics tools (Tableau or Amplitude preferred) and lifecycle marketing
