They are seeking a skilled Laser Operator responsible for operating and troubleshooting a Mazak laser to produce quality parts in a lean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Train and learn to operate Mazak laser, resulting in being able to operate, trouble shoot, and make adjustments to produce quality parts
Work with supervisor/lead in producing complete products in a continuous one piece flow operation
Embrace all lean initiatives
Work with programming and industrial engineering to maximize work center efficiency and material utilization
Maintain the ability and attitude to perform duties consistent with the operating expectations of Swenson
Operates within quality standards
Qualification
Required
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to use PC's and Outlook
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to learn and understand laser cutting processes
High school diploma or equivalent
Flexible time availability, including overtime
Accurately report labor and production
Dexterity and agility to maintain pace
Strong focus on safety and housekeeping
Other duties as assigned
