Assistant Research Professor
Penn State University is seeking an Assistant Research Professor for the Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness. The role involves supporting the development and evaluation of community-based programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of military families, with a focus on qualitative data collection and curriculum design for military-connected students.

Responsibilities
Support qualitative data collection, coding, and synthesis to inform scholarship, impact reporting, and implementation piloting
Conduct qualitative data analysis and contribute to technical reports to share with the sponsor and manuscript development for publication
Conduct research and evidence reviews to assess and realign existing student curriculum with current standards, emerging needs, and best practices
Design, develop and evaluate new student learning materials and curricula with specific attention to the needs of military connected students
Collaborate effectively with internal staff members and external research team members to propose solutions and strategies for successfully developing project deliverables
Create resources for complex research projects, data collection, and data management
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in a Social Science related field
2+ years of related experience
Preferred
Prior experience in qualitative data collection and analysis
Designing learning materials
Knowledge of military connected students
