Responsibilities

Participation in collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, employing agile software development techniques and resources to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications

Responsible for some or all of a Software product, contributing as a software team member and possibly leading a small software team

Responsibilities spanning the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience

Experience with C, C++, Java, Rust, or other OOP languages

Experience developing on Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

DoD Clearance: Secret

Preferred

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date

Experience with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development Methodologies

Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and secure software development methodologies

Experience with UNIX, Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, SYSBIOS, or other RTOS

Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles

Experience with design, code, integration, and test of large systems

Experience with some or all phases of software development: architecture, design, implementation, testing, and system integration

Domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Radars, EO/IR, EW, Network Communications, Datalinks, Platform Integration, Weapons/Effects (Missiles, Projectiles), Command & Control for Fire Control and Surveillance applications, Multi-Domain Airborne Sensor Fusion and Tracking experience
