Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment of study subjects and research procedure scheduling (example: scheduling for meetings with community partner and research subjects)
Conduct screening for potential study participants according to the study protocols
Provide reports and summaries on subject enrollment
Communicate with staff at the subject recruitment sites for eligible study participants
Assist with data entry
Qualification
Required
Knowledge and understanding of research study logistics including human subject recruitment and retention for research
Demonstrated computer skills/abilities: excellent word-processing skills
Willingness to learn to support study procedures
Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to travel to the study site in Orange County. Ability to work in the research office at UCLA for all project related work (No remote work)
Ability to concentrate and focus on tasks in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli
Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively and diplomatically interact with others with completeness and organization
Ability to fluently speak, read, write, and type in Korean language
Ability to work and solve problems with minimal supervision
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines. Use of discretion in confidential matters
Preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology
Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field
