Assistant Project Manager

They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support and lead project planning and execution, ensuring quality assurance and safety compliance, while coordinating with vendors and maintaining project documentation.

Responsibilities
Support & Lead: Assist Senior Project Management in the planning and execution of large-scale deployments (CCTV, Access Control, Fiber Optics, and Fire Alarms)
Field Coordination: Conduct periodic site visits in the Houston area to ensure quality assurance and safety compliance
Vendor Management: Coordinate with purchasing, field operations, and external vendors to ensure materials and labor align with project timelines
Documentation: Review progress drawings, floor plans, and takeoffs. Maintain accurate project status reports using proprietary internal software and Procore
Communication: Act as a bridge between clients, general contractors, and internal leadership
Qualification
Required
Hands-on exposure to security integration (Low Voltage, Surveillance, Access Control)
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and comfortable learning new project management software
Ability to read (or quickly learn to read) floor plans, progress drawings, and takeoffs
Detail-oriented and possess high integrity
Flexible for occasional evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) or Saturday work as project deadlines require
