Responsibilities
Utilizing knowledge acquitted in obtaining engineering or construction management degree to analyze the engineering concepts of a project
Overseeing construction management personnel to ensure quality assurance in procedures, methods and materials follow those specified in the contract documents
Oversight of multidisciplinary construction teams including contractors, designers, and engineers
Utilizing knowledge of technical components of a project to ensure those components meet the engineering requirements of the contract documents
Preparing cash flow/budgeting calculations from a critical path schedule and schedule of values in order for the project owner to accurately budget total project cost and to monitor contractors progress and scheduled completion
Qualification
Required
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Required in the state of New York
10+ year's experience in engineering and/or construction management
Ability to make decisions affecting the cost and performance of the work
Contract management
Management of multidisciplinary teams, 5+ personnel
Construction schedule review
Construction QA/QC
Preferred
CCM, USACE CQM, CCCA, or NICET certifications
