Responsibilities
Support for Mid-Atlantic Region Candidates in Pittsburgh / Philadelphia are highly preferred
Deliver the day-to-day HR support to our leaders and employees
Uphold best practices and remain compliant
Think intentionally about the DoorDash brand and employee value proposition
Partner closely with key Centers of Excellence such as Employee Relations, Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, Legal, Culture & Belonging, and People Operations
Coach business leaders on people strategy, including team structure (org design), talent retention, performance management, compensation, and learning and development
Solve People Related challenges, finding trends and solutions that can be implemented at scale
Lead business groups through DoorDash people programs (performance cycles, compensation reviews, talent development)
Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures specific to, and appropriate for, the local market
Qualification
Required
5+ years of HR/People experience with 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance culture where the business is constantly evolving
Experience supporting high-volume, customer facing employees and their leaders (ex. retail, hospitality, logistics, manufacturing)
Experience coaching leaders through performance management processes, annual planning, and talent programs
Ability to think critically and anticipate issues before they arise, proactively recommending solutions
Excellent judgment and the ability to make sound decisions independently
Enjoy working with data, mining for trends and actionable insights
Outstanding communicator with relationship building skills, and demonstrated experience building trust with HR partners in a larger organization
