Responsibilities
Develop, document, and implement accounting policies for digital assets
Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain-based financial instruments
Partner with finance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure accurate treatment of digital assets
Stay abreast of evolving regulatory and accounting guidance (US GAAP/IFRS) related to crypto
Provide thought leadership and training on crypto accounting best practices
Qualification
Required
CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred
7+ years of accounting experience, including policy writing and technical accounting
Strong knowledge of the digital assets ecosystem (cryptocurrencies, tokens, DeFi, NFTs, blockchain)
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience with Big 4 or financial services/crypto companies is a plus
