Responsibilities
Coordinating the work performed by the Document Capture Technicians
Coordinates functions to ensure all patient records are properly processed with all physician documentation, nursing documentation, monitoring unprocessed electronic work queues daily and assigning team members for processing
Responsible for coordination and troubleshooting of Electronic Medical Records equipment, Training, Mentoring and Educating New team members
Monitors Productivity and Quality Measures and assigns tasks through electronic task queues for all team members and performs other duties as assigned
Supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required
Minimum 4 years of health information management experience in a hospital setting required
Preferred
Associate's degree in Health Information Technology or related field preferred
RHIT registry preferred
