Responsibilities
Collaborate with the NPI Project Manager to ensure project quality goals are understood by all stakeholders and customer requirements are fully met
Provide leadership and guidance to plant teams to execute the NPI Quality Plan on schedule
Ensure manufacturing and quality teams have the necessary processes, tools, and resources to meet project quality objectives
Verify that all deliverables are completed prior to Official Production Signoff Release or appropriately documented under an approved deviation
Facilitate the Production Signoff Release process, ensuring compliance with internal and customer standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in quality leadership within manufacturing or product introduction environments
Strong understanding of quality systems, process validation, and customer requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability for quality deliverables
Preferred
Knowledge of medium-voltage electrical switchgear design and manufacturing requirements, including NEMA, IEEE, UL, and ANSI standards
Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), or similar quality planning methodologies
Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance
Project management exposure or certification (such as PMP) is a plus
