Project Assistant — Washington, D.C.
Asia Society Policy Institute is a solutions-oriented think and do tank headquartered in New York with an office in Washington, D.C., seeking a temporary Project Assistant. The Project Assistant will provide administrative and research support for a project centered on a supply chain resilience event in North Asia.

Responsibilities
Liaise with project funders, participants, panelists in the event, experts, and other individuals connected with the project
Prepare and keep up-to-date project planning and financial reporting documents
Assist in the coordination and execution of meetings, and work as a rapporteur for meetings as needed
Arrange travel for speakers, participants, and staff
Organize the venue for the event eg booking of hotel rooms etc
Organize other logistics arrangements for the event (e.g., catering, local transport, and AV support)
Provide additional administrative support as needed
Draft emails, talking points, briefings, and questions for panel discussions
Prepare materials for use in the event, including program handouts, presentations, pre-reading discussion document
Compile primary and secondary research on supply chain resilience issues
Identify and map government and non-government actors relevant to supply chain resilience in the Indo-Pacific
Additional research and analysis support as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's graduate with background in trade, international affairs, or related field
Some work experience (can be internships)
Demonstrated project management experience, including providing administrative and financial support for projects
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Superior time-management skills and ability to identify key priorities
Fluency in English required; knowledge of an Asian language an asset
