ICRI ELL Internship Program - Instructor

The International Council for Refugees and Immigrants (ICRI) is seeking Individual and Group ELL Instructors for their SNAP Next Step Employment & Training Program. This unpaid, part-time internship provides hands-on experience in adult education, focusing on equipping English Language Learners with essential language and workforce readiness skills.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one instruction tailored to the needs of individual learners
Focus on personalized language development through relationship-building and adaptive instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
Lead small-group classes for adult learners, delivering level-appropriate instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
Foster an inclusive learning environment and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse linguistic and cultural needs
Collaborate with program staff to assess progress and support student goals
