The National WWII Museum is currently seeking a part-time Admissions Associate. This role involves maintaining a welcoming rapport with visitors, providing information and customer services, and processing ticket orders to ensure an exceptional level of service for museum guests.

Association

Responsibilities

Determines admission status of groups and individuals and quickly and accurately processes tickets purchases
Assists with information as required to help visitors enjoy their museum visit
Actively trains to stay up to date on upsell opportunities, including PT-305 tours, entertainment options, and outbound travel
Trains other Admissions Associates as necessary
Assists with the check in of groups
Practices the Service Basics at all times. Provides a welcoming and inviting experience for Museum visitors
Notifies the Manager and Assistant Director of Visitor Services of immediate and/or general customer service, security, or safety issues
Accounts for and balances receipts at the end of the shift
Undertakes other duties and special projects as assigned by the Visitor Service Manager and Assistant Director of Visitor Services
Works closely with Membership and Volunteer Departments
Assists in answering the main phone line

Required

Experience balancing daily receipts and familiarity with ticket sales software programs
Experience working with the public, especially in sales
Positive attitude and enthusiastic demeanor
Comfortable working within a team, as well as for extended periods independently
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Initiative, organizational skills and good judgment
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work overtime during special events or heavy visitation periods
Weekend work required
