Responsibilities
Installation methods, i.e. defining routing schemes as well as coordination/interfacing with various Component Centers for requirements, access, and installation of sensors on rotating or static hardware
Develop design models and drawings with drafting support to fabricate hardware
Interface and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines
Develop design solutions that meet requirements
Communicate design definition and results to internal customers and coordinate acceptance with Integrate Product Team Leaders
Document results via Design Substantiation Memos and layout drawings
Must be able to read and understand technical drawings, understand basic engineering principles, test techniques, process flow, and instrumentation principles
Sensor Applications or other instrumentation experience highly preferred
Experience in development of gas turbine engines
Co-op experience or Senior Design project will be considered a plus
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
