Responsibilities

Maintain a thorough understanding of NACG’s strategic plan while staying informed about the external marketplace to identify potential strategic initiatives
Research potential strategic initiatives, establish working groups for conceptualization and testing, organize necessary involvement, form recommendations, and develop business plans for initiatives that are new and different from current practices
Provide leadership for strategic initiatives by orchestrating, coordinating, and prioritizing work across multiple functions and teams within NACG and Capital
Effectively navigate organizational structures to build consensus and advance initiatives. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships to unite internal teams across the enterprise to foster synergy and drive innovative solutions
Monitor strategic initiatives to ensure each is meeting stated objectives and that cross-functional teams are working effectively, including development and measurement of KPIs. As needed, adjust strategic initiative design, priorities, and operating model to ensure desired outcomes are achieved
Assist the Head of NACG in developing the narrative and messaging for internal and external speaking engagements, coordinating across stakeholders including (but not limited to) communications, marketing, research, insights and analytics, business management, human resources, sales, and product. Support the Head of NACG in preparing for effective participation in key CG executive governance forums, including for example CG Board meetings, semi-annual business reviews, town halls, national sales meetings, and client conferences
Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of market dynamics, and industry trends

Required

Exceptional professional experience in consulting and/or asset management
Deep industry expertise
Track record of delivering strategic business outcomes
Strong planning and work-management capabilities
Collaborative, building a strong virtual team of associates, managers and senior manager talent
Disciplined focus on measurable outcomes, scalability, and continuous improvement across initiatives and operations
Organizationally savvy, with the ability to navigate structures to build consensus and drive initiatives forward
Proven ability to conceptualize, test, and implement innovative ideas that challenge the status quo
Exceptional communicator, with the demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Strong presentation skills and the ability to captivate and engage stakeholders
Exceptional partner, building and nurturing strong relationships with Marketing, Product, Sales, Business Operations, Finance, Technology, etc
Influential, with the ability to drive alignment among senior business leaders on strategic business matters
