Responsibilities

Review job tickets, confirm project requirements, and prepare for production runs
Conduct make-ready, hang plates, set ink/water levels, and troubleshoot as needed
Run predetermined pulls during each load and verify against quality targets
Keep machinery clean, document operations and maintenance, and submit service requests
Support your supervisor and plant manager with additional assigned tasks
Follow Snyder’s safety and quality standards at all times

Required

Offset press operation experience with reliable color vision
Solid shop math: add, subtract, multiply, divide
Intermediate English communication (read/write/listen/speak)
Basic computer capability for data entry and printing
Measurement fluency; read a ruler accurately
Mechanical aptitude with a problem-solving approach
Acute attention to defects and detail
Familiarity with printing, die cutting, and gluing within packaging workflows
Manual loading and lifting with occasional climbing around equipment
Combination of repetitive and intermittent tasks; active, varied work that requires strength
Semi-automatic press operation; good eyesight required
Warehouse setting in a paperboard packaging facility; reaching, bending, lifting; able to lift up to 50 lbs
