Responsibilities
Utilize MS Project to develop comprehensive project plans defined by project quotes identifying project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables
Coordinate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and sales to align project goals and schedules
Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and resource allocation are efficiently handled
Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct regular meetings and status updates with clients to address concerns and provide progress reports
Ensure client requirements and expectations are clearly defined and work with the internal team to make sure they are met
Oversee the production and assembly of machine tool systems, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards
Implement project management methodologies and tools to track project progress and resolve issues
Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges
Monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure they meet quality and performance criteria
Prepare and present project status reports and final project evaluations to senior management
Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational skills
Technical expertise in lathe and grinding manufacturing
Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and stakeholders
Experience in project planning and coordination using MS Project
Experience managing project budgets and ensuring cost control
Experience acting as the primary point of contact for clients
Ability to conduct regular meetings and status updates with clients
Experience overseeing production and assembly of machine tool systems
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Experience managing risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Ability to monitor project milestones and deliverables
Experience preparing and presenting project status reports
Experience leading and mentoring project team members
Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively
