Responsibilities
Assist in developing airfield project plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater management, and contract documents for airport improvement projects across general aviation and commercial service airports in the Northeast
Work under close supervision with detailed instructions to gain experience and familiarity with engineering methods, practices, and programs
Perform seasonal construction observation at various airport sites, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required
0-3 years of progressive civil engineering experience
Must be eligible for security badge clearance (SIDA) at US airports
Preferred
Engineering Intern (E.I) Certification preferred
AutoCAD Civil 3D design/drafting experience preferred
FAA/DOT design requirements, specifications, funding, and understanding of airport operations preferred
