Responsibilities

Manage all phases of affordable housing development, including site due diligence, entitlements, financing, design, construction, and lease-up
Lead funding strategy and execution, including LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, HUD programs, and other public financing sources
Prepare and submit complex funding applications, RFQs/RFPs, and development packages
Coordinate with public agencies, lenders, investors, consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders
Oversee budgets, schedules, pro formas, and feasibility analyses across multiple projects
Lead community outreach efforts and represent projects at public meetings and hearings
Ensure smooth transition from development to operations and asset management
Support preservation, rehabilitation, and special development initiatives as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or related field
4+ years of experience in affordable housing development, finance, or related public/private sector roles
Strong working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD programs (202/811), tax-exempt bonds, and public funding sources
Experience managing projects from concept through construction completion
Comfort working with zoning, entitlements, and public approval processes
Ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating across internal teams and external partners
Strong communication skills with experience presenting to boards, public agencies, and community groups
A genuine passion for housing affordability, equity, and serving seniors
