FiberLight, LLC is a leading regional provider of innovative networking solutions, and they are seeking a GIS Intern to support their telecommunications and utilities GIS operations. This role offers hands-on experience using GIS tools and contributes to key business processes.

Responsibilities

Assist with Sales Cost Estimates (SCE) using documented GIS workflows

Collect and apply 811 locate data to support asset protection

Perform basic spatial analysis to assist operational teams

Create monthly locate screen rate reports by territory

Conduct QA/QC data audits in ArcGIS Online and GeoHub

Participate in weekly team meetings and scheduled learning & development sessions

Required

Rising junior or senior in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization

Preferred

Familiarity with ArcGIS tools preferred (coursework accepted)
