Responsibilities

The role has a particular focus on commercial technology contracts

Providing legal advice on a variety of legal matters with a primary emphasis on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements for customers, partners and suppliers

Reviewing, drafting and negotiating various standard and non-standard contracts and related documents in support of business needs and initiatives. Representative agreement types are as follows: Software licensing agreements; Master Services Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement, vendor agreements, marketing agreements, distribution, resale and other channel agreements

Identify commercial, legal and compliance risks arising from existing and contemplated commercial transactions and initiatives

Monitoring legal, legislative and regulatory trends applicable to the business (i.e. data privacy, security and data protection laws)

Work with other departments across the globe to ensure consistency of advice

Reporting matters as required to the Legal Director

Leading with other legal and compliance projects as requested
