Business Development Representative Intern (Summer 2026)
Okta is The World’s Identity Company, focused on providing secure access and authentication solutions. As a Business Development Representative Intern, you will engage in various projects to support the sales team, gain experience in the sales cycle, and develop skills in prospecting and account strategies.

Responsibilities
Work in office 4 days a week
Use social/professional networks in addition to other tools for true sales prospecting
Maintain accuracy and trackability of metrics in Salesforce
Attend and document xDR enablement meetings and RVP forecast calls
Support account operation and brainstorm account strategies
Monitor and report weekly marketing SLA’s
Opportunity to develop sales phone skills by following up with and qualifying inbound leads
Other projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to intern for 12 weeks
Ability to manage multiple projects, simultaneously
Analytically minded and detail oriented
Willingness to present in front of others and give presentations
Excellent phone etiquette
Passionate for a career in sales
