Responsibilities
Attend and complete the part-time Flatiron School Data Science Bootcamp
Work as an apprentice Data Scientist for your host company
Focus on systems that incorporate data, ML, and AI-driven workflows
Apply data and machine learning concepts within real product constraints
Build a portfolio of work
Receive ongoing mentorship from experienced data scientists
Qualification
Required
Must be currently living in the U.S
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. We do not offer any kind of visa sponsorship or transfers at this time - including H-1B, STEM OPT, and F-1
Must be available to commit 40 hours/week for 14 months to complete a part-time bootcamp and for apprenticeship work
Have a degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, or Economics (or similar) and/or have completed a data analytics or data science bootcamp
Successfully complete the Flatiron School Aptitude Assessment
Preferred
Basic proficiency in Python
Working knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and how to query or integrate them
Curiosity about AI processes and systems, such an NLP and LLMs
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Accountability in managing time and meeting small milestones
Curiosity, initiative, and a strong desire to grow into a multidisciplinary data scientist
