Pediatric Health Psychologist - Faculty - Assistant Professor

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a board certified/board eligible psychologist to join their expanding Division of Pediatric Psychology & Developmental Medicine. The pediatric health psychologist will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement integrated mental and behavioral health programming for pediatric patients, while also engaging in teaching and research opportunities.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of pediatric patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
Collaborate with medical professionals
Offer guidance to parents/caregivers
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Conduct research and provide training and supervision to psychology trainees and interns
Participate in professional development, scholarly activities, and administrative duties
Deliver health and behavior assessment and intervention services
Teach psychology learners, residents, and medical students as they rotate through clinics
Perform other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate

Qualification

Required

Eligible candidates should have a PhD or PsyD in an APA approved clinical psychology, school psychology, neuropsychology program, or appropriate subspecialty program
Candidates must also be licensed, or eligible to be licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin

Preferred

Clinical experience assessing and treating children and specialized training, including fellowship in child psychology
Specialized training or experience in health and behavior assessment and intervention
