Program Manager for Therapeutic Foster Care

They are seeking a Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and management of Therapeutic Foster Care, Parenting Time, and CHRP programs, ensuring compliance with standards and improving program quality.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards. Ensure programs are audit ready with applicable, rules, regs and agency standards
Work with their teams to improve all aspects of their programs to further the agency goals
Oversee and ensure the quality day-to-day operations of the front range foster care and supervised visit programs
Provide direct supervision of supervisors and case managers
Recruit and retain team members by actively participating in HR functions. Develop, implement, and maintain Agency wide Standard Operating Procedures for programs supervised and compliance with program specific regulations
Adhere to and support accounting policies and procedures. Oversee preparation of and adherence to departments budgets with a focus on maintaining sustainable funding streams
Coordinate and collaborate with counties and community agencies to provide services
Review monthly billing statements and expenditures. Overall fiduciary responsibility for programs
Monitor and measure outcomes to assure program effectiveness and individual/stakeholders’ satisfaction, as well as program assurance and program evaluations
Build strong relationships and collaborate internally and externally with other programs and community leaders
Support agency-wide initiatives
Back-up on-call rotation
Ensures quality coordinated care that meets the regulatory standards
Must work closely with other Ariel Programs and offices
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences OR
Bachelor's degree in a non-related field, with minimum two years' experience supervised by an individual with a Master of Social Work or other Master's degree in the social or behavioral sciences
Valid Regular Driver's License, with acceptable driving record
CPR & First Aid within 60 days of hire
QMAP certification within 60 days of hire
Structured Analysis Family Evaluation (SAFE) Certification at next available opportunity
Safety Care within 60 days of hire
Informed Supervision within 60 days of hire
Brief Suicide Intervention Training within 60 days of hire
The ability to read, speak and write in English
The ability to establish rapport with clients/families in order that optimal information gathering may occur
The ability to communicate verbally and in written format in both individual and group settings
Ability to be flexible, and able to change direction rapidly
Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, complete a wide variety of tasks in a timely and accurate fashion and direct others, as needed
Proficient computer knowledge
Must be available outside of traditional office hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to perform the functions of the position
Strong knowledge of the type of work child welfare agencies participate in
Exercise independent judgment within the scope and boundaries of the department, the Agency's Standard Operating Procedures, and Federal, State and Local Rules and Regulations regarding department operations
Knowledge of human development regarding major milestones of development, normal development parameters and commonly regarded devices to measure such
Knowledge of family dynamics regarding communication, interactions, and general functioning as well as parenting skills and intervention techniques
Knowledge of community resources (social, public agency, and information) in order to assist families in accessing these resources
Ability to provide reliable, insured transportation for self and others through the community served
Ability to demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance as scheduled and requested

Preferred

Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences
A minimum of one year experience in a supervisory role, including budget, program development, strategic planning, or entrepreneur experience
A minimum of one year experience in clinical background
Bilingual/Bi-literate, preferably in Spanish
