Senior LevelConfidential company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate and improve current manufacturing practices. The role involves leading efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality and safety in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
Study and evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify efficiency improvements
Act as the primary technical authority for manufacturing processes, designs, and equipment
Lead efforts to improve manufacturing methods to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality and safety
Apply manufacturing best practices for new products, by writing clear and concise subassembly requirements
Use data analysis and statistical methods to determine root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
Make cost down and fast turnaround production process of complex capital equipment with Laser, optics, electrical, mechanical components
Research and propose new manufacturing technologies and methods to maintain a competitive edge
Coordinate with Suppliers and Cross functional teams to ensure project execution and meet project schedule
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, backed by a strong quantitative and statistical background
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Proven experience in leading projects and teams
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure products are designed for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing
Develop and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, procedures, and reports
Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, including Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
Advanced proficiency with relevant software, such as CAD, CAM, and statistical software
Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and tools
