Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chain activities
This particular role will require the right candidate with the requisite amount of experience in problem solving planning issues in a highly dynamic and technical factory environment, gaining experience in backflush material management with automated equipment, as well as cycle counting and count reconciliation skills to ensure inventory is correct and that the assembly floor interruptions caused by stock outs is minimized as much as possible
The planner supports execution of programs and coordination of new program / product launches, as well as ad hoc reporting, to include supporting schedule recovery activities when necessary to achieve our customer needs
SCP assists with reporting of key performance indicators, performance data, and miscellaneous metrics with suggestions for process improvements and robust data reporting/action
The Supply Chain Planner will identify and escalate issues as necessary to the proper channels
SCP will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule
Planner will support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams
The planner ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery commitments
SCP will utilize MRP system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning systems and processes
Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
US citizenship status and ability to obtain a secret level clearance

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain or related field Preferred
Prior factory/manufacturing experience
