Centennial Bank is seeking a GTC Alternative Asset Specialist who will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of transactions for IRA accounts holding alternative assets. The role involves processing requests for purchases, sales, and in-kind distributions of alternative assets, as well as ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance training.

Responsibilities

Processes requests to purchase alternative assets in operating system

Processes and prepares requests to liquidate alternative assets in operating system

Processes and prepares requests for In-kind distribution of alternative asset

Prepares various orders to complete requested transaction from client or broker

Reconciles with reporting entity and ensure records are accurate

Conducts research as needed

The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Required

High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs

Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature

Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals

Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Must be able to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team

Must be detail oriented and able to solve problems

Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

Must have the ability to work with mathematical concepts that relate to precious metal transactions

Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

Must have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variable in standardized situations

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Internet, e-mail and a working knowledge of accounting software
