Responsibilities

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and implement API test strategies

Analyze acceptance criteria, create test cases, and maintain automated test suites for API validation

Identify opportunities to improve API testing processes and automation frameworks

Lead API testing efforts independently and actively participate in Agile ceremonies

Required

3–5 years of experience in software engineering or testing, with a focus on API testing and automation

Strong understanding of RESTful API concepts, design principles, and best practices

Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python

Experience with API testing tools and automation frameworks (Postman, Playwright, Jest, Jasmine)

Experience with GIT, JIRA, Confluence, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience with API performance and security testing

Exposure to testing AI-driven applications

Advanced experience with Playwright

Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
