Project Manager II

Responsibilities
Provides planning support to project teams, to ensure that projects are well-planned and have a high probability of being executed on-schedule and on-budget
Maintains institutional awareness of the project schedule and proactively identifying and mitigating risks
Coordinates and communicates the status of the project with project team members and customers, as needed, using enterprise collaboration tools and portals
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
Bachelor of Science and 5–7 years of related experience
Sufficient education and experience to understand the science to be able to facilitate planning and execution of the project
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
Preferred
Familiarity with biocontainment procedures and BSAT regulations helpful
