Responsibilities

Lead the Month-End Close: Directly manage and supervise the entire month-end close process, including the preparation and review of complex inventory and adjusting journal entries to the general ledger
Analyze Financial Performance: Analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations, performing detailed variance analysis to explain key drivers and trends
Review and Post Entries: Prepare, review, and approve complex and adjusting journal entries, as well as final financial statements
Financial Analysis: Analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and perform detailed variance analysis on financial activity
Reconciliations: Prepare and review inventory required balance sheet reconciliations to ensure general ledger accuracy
Audit & Deliverables: Document supporting schedules and analysis for quarterly and year-end deliverables. Support management during internal and external audit reviews
Policy Development: Assist Senior Management in the research, implementation, and maintenance of the Company’s accounting policies and procedures
Process Efficiency: Support management in streamlining and automating the month-end close process to improve efficiency and reduce reporting timelines
Cross-Functional Support: Issue and compile quarterly requirements and accrual requests across various departments
Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required for account variances and special projects initiated by Senior Management

Qualification

BBA in Accounting10+ years accounting experienceMicrosoft ExcelAnalytical skillsInterpersonal skillsDetail-orientedOrganizational skills

Required

BBA in Accounting is a MUST
10+ years of progressive accounting experience is a MUST
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a MUST
Excellent understanding of inventory accounting best practices
Exceptionally strong analytical skills and a proven ability to be attentive to detail
"Hands-on" and detail-oriented approach to document preparation and review
Well organized, adept at managing peak workloads to meet deadlines, and ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative communication style
Uncompromising personal integrity and a high level of respect for all individuals
