Corporate Inspection Technician

Responsibilities

Inspect and test fire protection systems to ensure functionality, including but not limited to:
Fire Sprinkler Systems
Fire Alarm Systems
Portable Fire Extinguishers
Backflow Preventers
Fixed Extinguishing Systems
Serve internal and external customers continuously
Render all services in accordance with manufacturer instructions, related codes/standards, and company policies and procedures
Schedule and coordinate inspections with local Eagle Fire managers and customers
Provide documentation of inspections for company records, customer records, authorities having jurisdiction, and any other required entity
Ensure timely completion of electronic inspection reports utilizing Profit Zoom
Communicate discrepancies, necessary system repairs, job schedules, routine communications, and other important issues to the customer
Market additional company services to existing and potential customers
Provide on-call availability for customer emergencies and support for special projects as scheduled
Train Technician Trainees as assigned
Continuously progress on NICET certifications applicable to the job role
Support other departments of the company as needed
Maintain accuracy and timeliness in all tasks

Required

5+ years of experience in the fire protection trade, with a minimum Level II NICET certification in Inspection Testing & Maintenance of Water-Based Systems (Level III preferred)
Licensing or the ability to be licensed within 60 days for fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, portable fire extinguishers, backflow preventers, and fixed extinguishing systems
A strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and excellence in all transactions
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel extensively
Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds, work from heights above 10 feet, and work in confined areas
Capability to work in varied environmental conditions, from extreme temperatures to loud noise levels
