Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety regulations
Inspect and test equipment for performance
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic medical devices
Maintain accurate service documentation
Support clinical staff by addressing equipment-related inquiries and providing technical assistance to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Equipment Repair
Knowledge of Electrical Safety and Calibration standards
Familiarity with operation and repair of Medical Equipment
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams and independently on technical tasks
Preferred
Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field preferred
Experience with healthcare or hospital equipment is highly beneficial
Previous work experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician is an advantage
