New Grad, Entry LevelCenters Health Care is seeking a Spirometry Technician who is responsible for performing high-quality spirometry testing in accordance with clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines. The role involves assisting with patient screening, documentation, and collaboration with medical and nursing staff to ensure accurate and timely respiratory evaluations.

Responsibilities
Perform spirometry tests following ATS/ERS standards
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
Provide spirometry testing to the geriatric population
Interpret test results including FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, FEF, PEF
Educate and guide patients through the spirometry process
Accurately document and input results into electronic medical records
Communicate test findings to the respiratory therapist or physician
Maintain infection control protocols and ensure patient safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support ongoing respiratory care initiative
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in spirometry or pulmonary function testing
If there is no certification, we will send the course to certification for NIOSHA spirometry technician
Basic understanding of respiratory anatomy and physiology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and able to follow clinical procedures accurately
Preferred
Prior experience in healthcare or respiratory setting, COTA, PTA, CRT, LPN
Proficiency with EMR systems is a plus
