Biomedical Equipment Technician III (Contract)

MultiMedical Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join their team on a contract basis in Dublin, GA. Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on complex biomedical equipment and systems
Calibrate and test medical devices to ensure accuracy and compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards
Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Collaborate with clinical staff and vendors to resolve equipment issues promptly and minimize downtime
Train and mentor junior technicians on technical procedures and safety protocols
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements including FDA, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards
Maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools necessary for equipment repair and maintenance
Participate in equipment acceptance testing and installation as needed

Required

Associate's degree or higher in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
Strong knowledge of medical device technology, including imaging, monitoring, and therapeutic equipment
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and CMMS software
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clinical staff and vendors
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed
Must pass federal background check and drug screen

Preferred

Certification such as CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) is highly preferred
