Head of Institutional Sales

Petal is an institutional execution infrastructure company that connects stablecoin capital to various regulated asset classes. They are seeking a Head of Institutional Sales to develop and manage the institutional sales pipeline, working closely with senior executives to shape sales strategies and build the sales function from the ground up.

Financial Services

Responsibilities

Build and manage pipeline of institutions ($50M-$500M AUM) who need tradfi execution
Lead sales cycles from intro through technical integration and go-live
Work directly with CEO, CFO, and CTO on positioning, pricing, and product feedback
Develop sales collateral, demo flows, and objection handling
Eventually build and lead a small sales team

Required

5+ years in institutional sales: broker-dealer, prime brokerage, or B2B fintech (IBKR, Alpaca, Apex, DriveWealth, Tradier, or similar)
Experience selling to hedge funds, prop shops, or asset managers
Understanding of trading infrastructure, APIs, and fund operations
Existing relationships in the crypto-native fund ecosystem are a major plus
Comfortable at the early stage building process
