Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, and train clinical support staff
Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll
Provide ongoing supervision, support, and performance evaluations
Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork and professional development
Manage according to budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation for engagement events at communities
Ensure smooth clinical operations by coordinating patient flow, appointment scheduling, and room utilization
Interdepartmental collaboration with Clinical Operations to ensure cohesive operations
Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
Implement and enforce clinic policies and procedures to uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance
Monitor patient satisfaction levels and implement strategies to enhance the patient experience
Address patient concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient care processes and minimize wait times
Oversee the implementation of patient education initiatives and preventive care programs. Ensure clinical support staff is integrated into our community's activities and promoting patient engagement
Stay updated on healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and other privacy laws governing patient information

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in healthcare administration or management, preferably in a primary care setting
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
Proficiency in healthcare billing and coding processes and knowledge of insurance regulations
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT applications
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards governing healthcare practices
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
