Responsibilities
Own the full journey to product-market fit, from early MVP through validated user traction
Start from first principles each day by asking: •Why would a user open this app today?•
Run tight beta and feedback loops by speaking directly with users, observing real behavior, and iterating quickly
Make clear, decisive calls on what ships and what gets cut—prioritizing usefulness, clarity, and speed over perfection
Get hands-on across the product: UX flows, onboarding, copy, content structure, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
Rapidly prototype and test ideas to validate assumptions and align the team on what feels right
Partner closely with the Founder, who provides vision and direction, while you own execution, experimentation, and user truth
Leverage the existing media audience as a distribution advantage without confusing reach for product success
Build conviction based on what actually works before scaling teams, systems, or marketing efforts
Qualification
Required
A former founder or early-stage builder who thrives in ambiguity and owns real outcomes
Equally comfortable with big-picture product thinking and deep attention to detail
Motivated by ownership and responsibility—not titles, headcount, or process
Possess strong instincts for simple, human, consumer-first experiences
Willing to do unglamorous work if it genuinely helps users
Energized by a mission focused on building something wholesome, trustworthy, and built to last
