Trailer Technician
TLI - Transco Lines, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform inspections and maintenance on trailers. The role involves preventative maintenance, repairs, and ensuring a clean work environment while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities
Correctly performs DOT & PM Inspections on trailers
All trailer preventative maintenance and repair
Tags all warranty parts with appropriate information to include cause of failure, mileage and removal date
Responsible for the cleanliness of work area, keeping spills, grease and debris to a minimum
Completes all repair orders in a timely manner, ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit
Basic computer skills to input vehicle information and diagnose equipment
Basic tools required
Trailer electrical work
Tests equipment for proper operations
Fix and repair tires, as necessary
Welding and fabrication of steel and aluminum, as necessary
Keeps work areas clean and free of clutter
Must have current valid driver's license
Performs additional duties and special projects as needed or directed
Qualification
Required

One year certificate from college or technical school; ASE Diesel Certification, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
1 year experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Valid CDL License
ASE Diesel Certification an asset
