They are seeking a Temporary Collections Specialist to manage accounts receivable collections, ensuring timely payment and maintaining client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned accounts receivable portfolios to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances

Proactively contact insurance carriers, adjusters, property managers, commercial clients, and homeowners regarding overdue invoices

Follow up on unpaid balances in accordance with company collection policies and aging thresholds

Maintain accurate and detailed collection notes within the accounting or ERP system

Review invoices for accuracy prior to collection outreach

Identify, research, and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, denials, or missing documentation

Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations teams to resolve billing issues impacting collections

Assist with resubmissions, supplemental billing, and documentation requests

Work closely with insurance carriers and third-party administrators to track claim payments and approvals

Understand project billing structures, including progress billing, retainage, deductibles, and change orders

Follow up on aged receivables related to insurance claims, CAT events, and large-loss projects

Prepare and maintain AR aging reports and collection status updates

Escalate high-risk or severely aged accounts to management with recommended action plans

Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable and cash application

Assist with audit requests and documentation related to AR and collections

Maintain professional, courteous, and solution-oriented communication with internal teams and external clients

Build strong working relationships with customers to support long-term partnerships and payment compliance

Represent SP Global DRT in a professional manner consistent with company values
