Responsibilities

Receiving and offloading all major components

Installing loose components for Nacelle, hub, and tower preparation

Connecting blades to hub

Setting base and tower sections

Managing taglines

Involved with main erection crane assembly and teardown

Climbing ladders – average 80m

Drilling and/or tapping of all holes on turbines, generators, compressors, and pumps

Torqueing/tensioning any bolted connection

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, assembly/disassembly, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
