Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of mass tort and environmental litigation matters from inception through resolution
Conduct legal research and factual investigation related to environmental exposure and liability issues
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Collaborate with partners, associates, experts, and support staff
Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel

Qualification

Required

3-7 years of litigation experience in mass torts, environmental law, toxic torts, or complex civil litigation
Active license and in good standing with the State Bar of California
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience managing discovery and motion practice
Effective time-management and prioritization skills in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-based practice
