Project Control Analyst

Responsibilities
Input, maintain, and update data in project spend plans, including labor, hours, travel, and funding allocations
Prepare, reconcile, and validate Travel Authorization Requests (TARs) and employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
Research and resolve discrepancies with employees, Program Managers, and Finance prior to submission
Support the preparation and review of client invoices in Costpoint, ensuring accuracy of labor hours, rates, ceilings, and funding data
Submit invoices for Program Manager approval and forward final, approved billing packages to Finance
Monitor contract funding and notify Contracts or Program Management when contract ceilings approach defined thresholds
Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance, obtain approvals, and enter data into Costpoint for payment processing
Support the monthly billing cycle by reconciling spend plan data with the General Ledger
Update spend plans for staffing, funding, or contract changes and enter contract modifications into Costpoint
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and assist in compiling data for Program Management Reviews (PMRs)
Support contract closeout activities by reconciling final billings, ceilings, and payments, including preparation of WAWF documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (experience may substitute)
5–10 years of experience in project control, accounting, finance, or government contracting
Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems
Strong Excel skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments
Preferred
Understanding of FAR/DFARS billing requirements, WAWF, and contract funding management is a plus
